I love the overall effect you've created here.  There's a lot of contrasting lights and darks that infuse a lot of mystery in this for me.  The glowing white symbols vs. the shadowy emanations, the white clouds at left vs. the dark clouds at right.  There's a real conflict portrayed there, and with it being black and white it makes it feel like good and evil.  I love that you've pretty much balanced the light and dark, so there's no winner just the ongoing struggle.  Were it not for the red eyes this mystery would extend into the man, is he a champion of the light or the dark?  The red eyes make him clearly on the evil side.

Once I had settled on him being demonic and started looking him over my next thought was "Why is that demon wearing boxer briefs?"  He's got a pretty imposing physique and those just felt a little out of place.  Not sure what you could really do beyond cover them with more of that shadowy stuff though.

As I said above I liked the balance and intermingling of light and dark, for me it gave this a lot of character.  Putting that glowing white symbol on his chest was a good call as it brought attention to the man.  His sort of middle value/brightness may have blended into the background a bit, but that bright pop definitely brings the eye toward his face.

I will say that the text in the picture, and it's reflection are skillfully done.  They are very clean and match the colors and theme of the picture.  For me they took me out of the immersion I was feeling and reminded me that I was looking at a picture.  This wasn't so much the text as it's reflection, which gives this more the feel of an album cover rather than seeing some event unfold.  Not necessarily a bad thing, it's more a question of what you wanted to accomplish.

One thing I really want to say is that clearly I was absorbed by the scene you had created.  It wasn't until I read your comments that it dawned on me how you made this, by layering together several photographs.  The point I'm getting to is that the different elements fit together seamlessly, there wasn't any gaps between the photos that broke the image or revealed how it was made.  And that deserves some credit, Excellent work!
